THE ART OF FILMMAKING

Shorts and Animation

Once upon a time Janus was THE name for important films - a torch carried now by The Criterion Collection. Janus not only played up full-length releases, but distributed a number of short films by important directors as well. This collection (which was once available on VHS believe it or not - but many have yet to be released on DVD) contains several important films and some gems that I hope will not get lost in the cracks of the digital age.
